Dura-Son MB™ (3.5mm | IIC69 without suspended ceiling)

Dura-Son MB™ 3.5mm is a high-performance acoustic membrane with a vapor barrier that provides additional protection against water damage and extends the life of your flooring. Ideal for floating engineered hardwood and laminate floors where moisture accumulates. This product is ideal for your floating installations in condos, hotels, commercial spaces, and private residences.

Dura-Son MB™ 3.5 mm offers very high acoustic performance. On an 8” concrete slab, the IIC is 69 with no suspended ceiling.

The honeycomb structure allows for good heat circulation and creates a cushion that minimizes the impact force. The underlayment provides an extended compression of 80% in accordance with ASTM D1055 and the Hazardous Products Act.
