PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Kinetics SR Floorboard is a unique sound underlayment material which substantially reduces sound transmission through hard surface floor systems. SR Floorboard offers better airborne noise control than Soundmatt, while being thinner than the Ultra Quiet SR. This underlayment arrives at the jobsite as 4’ x 8’ x 5/8" sheets of high density molded glass fibers separated by a rigid honeycomb core.
- Withstands live loads up to 1000 psf
- Maintains its strength even when wet
- Cuts easily with standard construction knife
- Floor composites with finished tile flooring can be under two-inches (50mm) high
