Key features
- Standard technical rating (C1E): meets C1E under ISO 13007 and EN 12004 with standard bond strength (C1) and extended open time (E).
- Stable bond: the polymer cement formula bonds durably to standard substrates such as concrete and flat plaster.
- For ceramic tile and small stone: made for pottery tile, ceramic tile and small to medium natural stone.
- Extended open time for easy adjustment: lets the tiler align tile flexibly after setting without reducing the bond strength.
- Easy to mix and economical: mix with clean water only; the high workability makes work fast, a cost-optimal choice for dry interior areas.
Applications
- Ceramic tile and stone, interior
- Exterior, floor and wall (fortified with Mortar Admix)
Suitable substrates
- Concrete
- Cement mortar beds
- Cement plaster
- Concrete masonry
- Brick masonry
- Drywall board (consult LATICRETE Technical Services)
Notes for use
- Tile adhesives are not a replacement for waterproof membranes. Where a waterproof barrier is required, use a LATICRETE membrane.
Installation
- The surface must be sound, clean and free of dirt, oil, grease, loose paint and curing compounds, at 8 to 35 °C.
- Pour clean water into a pail, add the powder and mix to the water ratio in the specification table.
- Spread with a notched trowel, set the tile into the wet, sticky mortar and beat it in with a block and rubber mallet to level.
- Check coverage by lifting a tile. If the mortar has skinned over, remove it and replace it with fresh mortar.
- Clean tools and tile with water while the mortar is fresh.
