Key features
- Standard technical rating (C2T): very high bond strength (C2) and effective slip resistance (T) under ISO 13007 and EN 12004.
- Firm bond: the polymer-modified cement powder gives high bond strength and limits hollow tile and tile debonding over time.
- For porcelain and medium-format stone: holds porcelain, ceramic, pottery tile and medium to large granite firmly on floors and walls.
- Good slip resistance on walls: tile stays in place as soon as it is fixed to a vertical wall, saving alignment time.
- Easy to mix and cost-saving: mix with clean water only; the high workability speeds up installation, a cost-optimal choice for interior and dry exterior projects.
Applications
- All types of ceramic tile and natural stone
- Floors and walls, interior and exterior
Suitable substrates
- Concrete
- Cement mortar beds
- Cement plaster
- Concrete masonry
- Brick masonry
- Cement backer board
- Drywall board
Notes for use
- Tile adhesives are not a replacement for waterproof membranes. Where a waterproof barrier is required, use a LATICRETE membrane.
Installation
- The surface must be sound, clean and free of dirt, oil, grease, loose paint and curing compounds, at 8 to 35 °C.
- Pour clean water into a pail, add the powder and mix to the water ratio in the specification table.
- Spread with a notched trowel, set the tile into the wet, sticky mortar and beat it in with a block and rubber mallet to level.
- Check coverage by lifting a tile. If the mortar has skinned over, remove it and replace it with fresh mortar.
- Clean tools and tile with water while the mortar is fresh.
