EnkaSonic E10

EnkaSonic® E10 impact sound insulation (about 10 mm thick) is designed to effectively eliminate footstep noise and mechanical impact noise on floors. Its durable 3D hollow filament structure breaks the sound connection between the concrete slab and the floor finish, improving the IIC rating by up to 22 dB. The product has excellent compressive strength and keeps 97% of its thickness after long use.

Key features
- Outstanding 3D structure: the core of tangled Polyamide 6 filaments creates optimal air gaps that eliminate vibration and low-frequency impact sound bands.
- Strong sound reduction: reaches a high impact sound improvement index and IIC (IIC increased by up to 22 dB), made for premium projects.
- Thickness recovery of up to 97%: thanks to the spring-like elasticity of the filaments, the product keeps its structure and lasting sound insulation performance after decades under load.
- A perfect elastic cushion: withstands mechanical deflection and deformation of the concrete slab without sinking or breaking the screed structure.
- Good moisture release: the hollow structure lets air circulate gently, limiting condensation trapped beneath the floor.
Applications
- Beneath ceramic tile, marble, wood, vinyl or carpet
- Wood-frame and concrete-slab floors
- Beneath the screed
- Renovation projects
